LANSDALE CLUBHOUSE
We are a Fellowship of men and women who have lost the ability to control our drinking and have found ourselves in various kinds of trouble as a result of drinking. We attempt - most of us successfully – to create a satisfying way of life without alcohol. For this we find we need the help and support of other alcoholics in AA
The Expect a Miracle (EAM) Group of Alcoholics Anonymous is located in Lansdale, PA in Montgomery County. It was established in December 1, 1990.
The Clubhouse is currently offering in-person and online meetings. We have over 35 meetings per week.
Expect a Miracle is part Area 59 Eastern PA General Services Assembly. SEPIA provides resources throughout the five-County Southeast PA region.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
DONATIONS and CONTRIBUTIONS
Our Seventh Tradition
The Seventh Tradition states that Alcoholics Anonymous is self-supporting through our own contributions. These contributions help to cover the Expect a Miracle Groups’ expenses and insures UNITY through clubhouse contributions to the General Office, SEPIA, Area 59 and District 23.
All money goes directly to the Expect a Miracle bank account. Currently, monthly Expect a Miracle expenses are approximately $2,000 (rent, utilities and contribution).
